Why now? Legio is building a single system for dispatch, incident response, case work, patrols, asset management and compliance reporting. Its founders — Darren Hill, Mike Wertman and Joe Crampton — bring backgrounds in campus public safety and enterprise security software.

Investor view. Klass Capital said it looks for vertical software businesses operating in complex, regulated markets, and described Legio's AI-native architecture as a fit for higher education public safety.
