What's the endgame? Founded in 2025 by Gerard Serra and Iair Mowszet, Tripjoin lets content creators and communities organise, manage, and monetise group trips through a single tool. It operates as a pure marketplace, connecting organisers with travellers rather than acting as a travel agency or building its own experiences.

Why now? In its first twelve months, Tripjoin served more than 1,100 travellers and generated over €500,000 in booking volume — all through organic growth. Destinations ranged from Spain to Southeast Asia.

What's the money for? The company plans to accelerate product development, strengthen its team, and support growth. It also intends to expand into Italy and Portugal, citing geographic proximity and cultural affinity.

"Tripjoin has developed a product that addresses a real user need, and that is clearly demonstrated by the more than one thousand travelers who have already trusted the platform," said Mercè Tell, general partner at Encomenda.

The signal: The round reflects investor interest in creator-led commerce, where communities and content creators convert audiences into paying customers. Tripjoin bets that group travel is the next category to move that way.
