SOA People buys majority of Türkiye's Detaysoft in SAP consulting play

SOA People's existing Turkish subsidiary, formerly Çözümevi, will merge with Detaysoft to form a single Turkish SAP entity with more than 600 professionals from day one.
By the numbers: The combined group now spans 10 countries with more than 1,600 SAP consultants and roughly €250 million in revenue. It has set a target of €500 million in annual revenue by 2030.
Who's involved? Detaysoft, founded more than 25 years ago and led by Alkin Aksoy and Bora Dündar, serves major enterprise clients across key industries from Istanbul. The two founders will lead the combined entity as co-owners.
What's the endgame? The merged Turkish entity is designed as a nearshore delivery hub for SOA People's European clients, offering SAP delivery at competitive cost within the same time zone as Central Europe. The company expects the model to become a competitive differentiator as clients seek hybrid delivery combining local expertise with cost-efficient nearshore capabilities.
What they're saying: Khalil Hodaibi, chief executive officer and chairman of SOA People Group, called the deal "the most significant milestone in SOA People's 20-year growth journey." Co-founder Bora Dündar said: "For our Turkish clients, nothing changes except that we become stronger."
What could go wrong? The transaction is subject to approval by the Turkish Competition Board and customary closing conditions.
The signal: The deal reflects growing European appetite for nearshore SAP delivery as enterprises push through S/4HANA migrations and cloud transformation. By consolidating scale in Istanbul, SOA People is betting that proximity plus cost efficiency will win work across a fragmented consulting market.
