Saat & Saat lists in Istanbul, raising 1.5B liras

What's the deal? Turkish watch retailer Saat ve Saat Sanayi ve Ticaret raised 1.5 billion Turkish lira (about $32 million) in its initial public offering on Borsa IstanbulDealroom has a profile for this one. Why now? The listing lands amid a busy stretch for Turkish capital markets, where investor demand for new issues has held firm. Sixteen companies listed on Borsa Istanbul in the first half of 2026, together raising 24.6 billion TRY.

What could go wrong? Recent debuts have been mixed. Some names, such as Netcad Yazilim and Savur Gayrimenkul Yatirim Ortakligi, traded above their offering prices, but second-quarter listings performed more weakly than first-quarter ones.

The signal: Turkey's IPO pipeline shows no sign of slowing. July brought further offerings from Beta Enerji ve Teknoloji and Isvea Seramik, and the Turkish Capital Markets Board has approved seven more — a sign the market should stay active in the months ahead.
