Niantong Intelligent raises ¥100M Series A for brain-signal rehab tech

What does it do? Spun out of Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 2016, the company develops products across electroencephalography (EEG), electromyography, near-infrared, and electrical stimulation technologies. It targets brain science, rehabilitation medicine, neural diagnostics, and human-factors engineering.

What's the money for? Niantong will spend the funds on the commercial rollout of its core product, eCon-Hand, and on developing a full-cycle stroke rehabilitation product line. It also plans to upgrade core technology and production capacity.
