Morgan Stanley's growth arm backs X-ray detection maker Viken

"With the support of Morgan Stanley Expansion Capital, we're ready to do more of it, faster."
The signal: A backer of Morgan Stanley's scale stepping into detection hardware points to sustained demand for security and inspection technology, and to investor appetite for late-stage growth deals in specialised defence-adjacent sectors.
