What's the endgame? Founded in 2021 by Sujata Pawar and Apurv Agarwal, the Mumbai-based startup makes science-backed, toxin-free products for women across adolescence, reproductive years, and menopause.
Its portfolio includes a patented antimicrobial reusable sanitary pad and a liposomal iron supplement designed to address iron deficiency. It also sells products for PCOS management, calcium supplementation, and urinary and vaginal health.
What's the money for? Avni will use the capital to strengthen digital commerce, expand its cycle nutrition range, grow its women-led micro-entrepreneur network, and widen its presence across online marketplaces.
Why now? The company says it wants to close critical gaps in women's healthcare in India by tackling hormonal health, nutrition, and long-term wellness while building in livelihood generation and sustainability.
