Niural launches AI Labs and grows Series A to $52M
What's the deal? Niural, an AI-native global payroll and benefits platform, has launched Niural AI Labs, a research unit focused on building long-horizon AI agents for high-stakes domains.
The New York company also raised $21 million in new capital, bringing its Series A to $52 million.

Why now? The raise was driven by inbound demand from operators already using Niural in production, the company said.
It follows a strong run. Since launching a master medical partnership with AetnaDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → in April 2026, Niural has crossed $200 million in annualised gross revenue on its PEO product alone.
The company supports businesses in more than 150 countries and moves billions of dollars in global transactions annually for clients including Rillet, ConductorOne, and Polygon.
What's the bet? The Lab aims to build agents that can execute complex, regulated work reliably — where errors carry deadlines and consequences.
"Niural AI Labs is our bet on the hardest problem in AI: agents you can trust with work where the margin for error is zero," said Nami Baral, co-founder and chief executive officer.
Payroll and benefits, she said, were the proving ground: a production environment where every decision has a right answer.
The plan is to extend that capability into other rule-heavy, deadline-driven domains companies cannot afford to get wrong.
The signal: Niural remains an early-stage company, yet it is positioning Niural AI Labs as a moat in a crowded AI market — wagering that trust earned in regulated payroll and benefits is harder to replicate than capability built for low-stakes tasks. With customers and partners joining lead investors FOG Ventures and NewView Capital in the round, the people closest to the product are now funding its push into agentic work.
