Probook raises $40M from Andreessen Horowitz and Sequoia to scale its AI operating system for home services

The haul includes a $34 million Series A led by Andreessen Horowitz and a $6 million seed round led by Sequoia Capital, which also joined the Series A.
Why now? Home service operators had spent years buying piecemeal AI tools — a voice agent here, a chat widget there — that never talked to each other.
Probook built dispatch first, then layered intake, data cleaning, messaging, and outbound on a single context layer. Every customer stays on one text thread, from first touch to the front door.
Founder George Eliadis spent a summer inside TR Miller, a $40M HVAC, plumbing, and electrical shop in Illinois that became Probook's first customer.

Summers Plumbing, Heating & Cooling, with 14 locations and 260 technicians, booked 2,542 jobs in its first month with zero human intervention.
What could go wrong? Probook deploys in person and stays on the hook for outcomes — a hands-on model that is hard to scale as demand surges.
It also enters a crowded field of AI vendors chasing the trades, where rivals own slices of the same customer journey.
The signal: Investors are betting on vertical AI built by founders who know the industry from the inside.
