Try Dealroom → Business Software for R$62.1 million. Forbiz, headquartered in Curitiba, was already one of Senior's main distribution channels in Brazil, serving over 130 clients with a team of 50. The deal turns a long-standing partnership into a full integration.
Forbiz was founded in 1991 and built its business implementing and supporting Senior's platforms for mid-sized and large companies across industries including retail, education, manufacturing, and logistics. Its client list includes major Brazilian brands like O Boticário, Renault, and Nissei.
Why now? Senior is on an acquisition tear. The company has completed more than 30 acquisitions since 2015, including the recent R$162.5 million purchase of Cigam. In 2025, it posted record revenue of R$1.17 billion — up 19.9% year over year.
Under chief executive Carlênio Castelo Branco, who took the helm in 2012, the company has expanded well beyond its roots in payroll and HR software into ERP, logistics, agribusiness, construction, and financial services.
What could go wrong? Acquiring a distribution partner carries integration risk. Forbiz's value lies in its client relationships and local expertise — assets that can erode if the transition is poorly managed. Senior also runs a network of roughly 180 distribution channels, and folding one into the mothership could create tension with remaining partners who may wonder if they're next.
