ServiceNow’s Third Multibillion-Dollar Acquisition of 2025 Brings Armis for $7.75B

ServiceNow has agreed to acquire cybersecurity company Armis for $7.75 billion in cash, marking the largest deal in its history and a significant expansion of its security ambitions.

The acquisition, expected to close in the second half of 2026, comes as enterprises and public institutions grapple with growing cyber exposure driven by cloud adoption, connected devices and the rapid deployment of AI across business operations.

Founded in 2015 and headquartered in San Francisco, Armis specialises in asset intelligence and cyber exposure management, providing visibility across IT, operational technology and connected devices, including medical and industrial equipment.

For ServiceNow, the acquisition strengthens its strategy of embedding security and risk management into core enterprise workflows. Armis will help it build an end-to-end security exposure and operations stack, linking asset discovery and threat intelligence with automated response and remediation inside the ServiceNow platform.

The deal follows a period of strong growth for Armis, which had raised $435 million at a $6.1 billion valuation one a month before the announcement and had been preparing for a potential IPO.

Armis becomes the latest addition to a string of acquisitions that reflect ServiceNow’s increasing emphasis on AI-driven automation and security.

In March 2025, the company announced the $2.85 billion acquisition of AI agent platform Moveworks, and in early December 2025 said it would acquire identity security provider Veza for more than $1 billion. Together, these transactions point to a broader effort to combine AI, identity and asset intelligence within a unified enterprise workflow platform.
