Bullhound Capital’s Fund VI Marks First Exit with CoverManager-Zenchef Merger
Two of Europe’s most prominent restaurant technology companies, CoverManager and Zenchef, have announced a strategic merger aimed at reshaping the digital hospitality landscape across Europe and Latin America. The combined group will serve over 36,000 restaurants in 20+ countries, managing more than 650 million guest interactions annually.
Backed by investors including Highgate Technology Ventures, Expedition Growth Capital, and Bullhound Capital, the newly formed company positions itself as a leading revenue management platform for restaurants — going beyond reservation systems to offer an integrated suite of AI-driven and data-enabled tools that support restaurants throughout the entire guest journey, from discovery to loyalty.
The merger builds on the companies’ shared ambition to help restaurants gain greater control of their operations, increase profitability, and deliver more personalized guest experiences. While CoverManager and Zenchef will continue operating under their existing brand names, their technologies, teams, and networks will be closely aligned to scale innovation and growth.
Bullhound Capital, an early investor in CoverManager, highlighted this as the first liquidity event in its Fund VI and emphasized its continued support of the business going forward.
With a growing global footprint and a combined platform focused on empowering independent hospitality operators, the merged entity aims to set a new standard in restaurant tech — one that favors flexibility, autonomy, and performance over closed, commission-heavy marketplaces.
