Try Dealroom →, a Netherlands-based Warehouse Management System (WMS) provider, to fund its next phase of growth. The deal, announced in September 2026, has an undisclosed value.
What does Boxwise do? Founded in 2006 and headquartered in Nieuw-Vennep, Boxwise builds WMS software for organisations running complex logistics. Its platform turns ERP orders into structured picking, packing, and shipping workflows for roughly 240 customers.
Who buys it? Boxwise is strongest in healthcare (hospitals) and wholesale, with a growing presence in e-commerce. It offers two packages — Lite and Pro — tailored to different levels of process complexity.
Why now? Boxwise generates about 89% of its revenue in the Netherlands, while gaining traction in Belgium and pushing into Germany. The company operates in the Supply Chain Execution software market, which is expanding on the back of digitisation and AI-driven process optimisation.
What's the endgame? Main and Boxwise want to strengthen Boxwise's position as a WMS provider across its core markets. Growth will come from new AI-enabled features, fresh integrations, international expansion, and a selective acquisition strategy.
"We are very excited to support Boxwise in the execution of its growth strategy and help the business further strengthen its position as WMS provider," said Felix Snoeck Henkemans, senior investment manager at Main.
The signal: The deal reflects continued private equity appetite for niche supply chain software as warehouses digitise. For Boxwise, the challenge now is turning a Dutch-heavy customer base into a genuinely international one.
