Who's who? Aeon, founded in 2023, runs an AI-powered platform combining whole-body MRI — capable of detecting over 500 possible anomalies — with blood diagnostics covering more than 100 biomarkers. Aware Health is a consumer blood diagnostics platform with 100+ biomarkers, a network of over 45 blood-draw locations, and close to 10,000 active customers.
The terms: Aeon acquired Aware Health's full technology platform, key contracts and equipment, customer relationships, and core team. The Berlin team continues under the Aeon brand.

What's the endgame? Aeon says the acquisition makes it the first European platform to combine whole-body imaging with recurring blood diagnostics in a single product, building a continuous health record updated quarter after quarter. "Imaging tells you where you are. Blood diagnostics tell you where you are heading. AI is what connects the two into prediction," said founder and chief executive officer Tim Seithe, who added that the deal "accelerates that vision by two years."
Why now? The deal lands amid continued investment into European preventive healthcare and AI-enabled diagnostics. EU-Startups has tracked roughly €667 million across relevant rounds this year, though €612.7 million came from Neko Health's Series C alone.
Does it work? Aeon says more than 90% of its check-ups already surface findings customers can act on, with a significant finding rate of 15.4%.
The signal: European preventive health is consolidating around multimodal data. Comparable Zurich player Ahead Health raised €5.1 million in January and €8.7 million in July for a similar blend of blood testing, MRI, and AI, while Paris-based Lucis secured €17.1 million — a sign that combining imaging, diagnostics, and prediction is becoming the region's blueprint.
