Why now? Founder and managing director Jon Leighton framed the raise around shifting operator demand. "Operators don't want more technology — they want less friction, for both customers and back offices," he said, pointing to demand from operators "ready to move on from barrier-based systems."
The signal: Backers see room to modernise ageing infrastructure. Naomi Allen Seales, investment manager at Northstar Ventures, said the firm had built "a genuinely differentiated software platform for transport infrastructure at a time when operators are increasingly looking to modernise legacy systems," adding that it has "significant growth potential."
