What's the endgame? TracXon is building an integrated production line for Flexible Hybrid Electronics (FHE). The technology replaces rigid printed circuit boards (PCBs) with flexible circuits printed using conductive inks on thin, bendable and recyclable films.
The company says it is the only player covering the entire FHE value chain, from proprietary design guidelines to patented production systems.
Why now? The round extends a €4.75 million raise completed in September 2025, led by DeepTechXLDealroom has a profile for this one. Where it's aimed: TracXon targets fast-growing markets including healthcare, the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) and automotive. It aims to replace at least 10% of the billions of conventional, difficult-to-recycle PCBs made worldwide each year.
The company recently won the ASML-sponsored award in the Semiconductors and Advanced Electronics category at the 2026 Hello Tomorrow Challenge in Amsterdam.
The signal: At roughly $1.2 million, this is a modest cheque — near the middle of the pack for early-stage deals — but it reflects continued Dutch state and regional backing for hardware spin-offs turning research into manufacturing capability.
