What's the deal? Component Sourcing International (CSI)Dealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →, a Charlotte-based global sourcing and supply chain company, has acquired SenSource Global SourcingDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →, an international sourcing firm based in Milford, Ohio. Terms were not disclosed.

What each side brings: CSI, a CPCDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → operating company, specialises in engineered components and hands-on supply chain management. SenSource provides end-to-end supply chain services, from engineered product sourcing and logistics to warehousing, inventory management, and product development.

The strategic rationale: SenSource adds established in-country teams in China, Taiwan, and India, plus specialised expertise in gears, machined shafts, and multi-process castings. Those teams expand CSI's on-the-ground presence in regions where it already sources.

The deal also broadens CSI's capabilities in areas including gears, splines, and aluminium die casting. SenSource brings experience across markets including medical and dental, automotive, agriculture, infrastructure, construction, and appliances.

What changes for customers? SenSource customers gain access to a larger sourcing organisation and expanded manufacturing capabilities, while keeping the relationships and service they use today. SenSource's in-country teams work directly with suppliers through quoting, tooling, sampling, quality, and delivery.

"SenSource is a natural fit for CSI because of how closely our businesses, values, and approaches to customer service align," said Jay Glasscock, CSI's chief executive officer. "By bringing our organizations together, we can build on the strengths of both companies and offer customers an even broader range of sourcing, engineering, and supply chain capabilities."

The signal: The acquisition reflects continued consolidation among global sourcing firms seeking scale and deeper in-country presence, as manufacturers look to diversify supply chains across Asia and India.
