Why now? LaSalle frames the top-up as a "vote of confidence" earned through performance. "It reflects the consistent outperformance that our UK custom accounts team has delivered across market cycles," said Philip La Pierre, head of Europe at LaSalle.
Reaching £1 billion marks a milestone for the mandate, which uses what the firm calls a "highly scalable model" for direct UK custom accounts.
The signal: LaSalle manages over $30 billion in custom account assets globally and sees the format gaining appeal. "This format is particularly attractive in today's market, where investors are seeking customised solutions that offer resilient incomes and compelling returns," said Sophie Simmonds, managing director of UK custom accounts.
