Upwind raises $300M, hits $3.8B valuation in five months
What's the deal? Israeli cloud security company UpwindDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → has raised about $300 million at a valuation of roughly $3.8 billion. Bessemer Venture Partners, TCV, and Salesforce Ventures joined other prominent investors in the round.
Why now? The financing comes less than eight months after Upwind closed a $250 million Series B at a $1.5 billion valuation. That means the company has added roughly $2.3 billion to its valuation since the start of the year.
The signal: Investors continue to pour capital into companies working at the intersection of cybersecurity, cloud infrastructure, and artificial intelligence — a sector drawing intense backing as demand for cloud protection climbs.
