Inq adds $800K convertible tranche at a higher SEK 0.16 conversion price

What's the deal? INQ Group ABDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →, the Nasdaq Stockholm-listed technology company, has added a USD 0.8 million tranche to its existing convertible loan facility. The tranche was subscribed by a mix of existing lenders and new investors, and forms part of the convertible financing structure INQDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → announced in March 2026.

The terms: Lenders can convert principal and accrued interest into new ordinary shares at SEK 0.16 per share — up from SEK 0.06 and SEK 0.12 for earlier tranches — at a fixed SEK/USD rate of 9.05. Participants also receive warrants worth 20% of the amount funded, covering up to 4,525,000 new shares at SEK 0.32 for one year.

Why now? The company frames the rising conversion price as a sign of progress. "This tranche once again is an improvement in the terms of the equity component of this financing as evidenced from the increase in the conversion price from SEK 0.12 to SEK 0.16 signifying the progress INQ is making," said chief executive officer Jonathan Faiman.

What's the endgame? INQ says the funds add financial flexibility as it executes its product roadmap, strengthens enterprise relationships, and expands distribution. The company is the original inventor of digital pen and dot pattern technology, selling ‘inq’ and ‘Livescribe’ retail products alongside enterprise workflow tools.

The fine print: The tranche will convert automatically if INQ completes a qualified equity financing of at least USD 3 million equivalent at a subscription price of at least SEK 0.20. It is secured by a first-ranking floating charge over group assets and a share pledge in a subsidiary, and conversion requires shareholder approval under the Swedish Companies Act.

The signal: At USD 0.8 million, this is a small, incremental raise — sitting in the bottom tenth of comparable rounds by size. The move keeps INQ's financing consolidated under one framework while nudging its equity terms upward, a modest but visible marker of the company's trajectory.
