The rationale: The acquisition gives Recruiter.com customers a structured way to judge applicants on demonstrated ability rather than resumes and unstructured conversations. Recruiters gain richer signals, while employers get a single tool to find, assess, and hire talent.
Why now? "AI is changing recruiting in a big way, but we think the real opportunity is using technology to help great recruiters do even better," said Jesse Tinsley, chief executive officer of Recruiter.com. Feenyx's tools also flag suspicious behaviour, potential fraud, and AI use during interviews — growing concerns as candidates increasingly turn to AI.
What changes for customers? Feenyx will operate as "Feenyx, a Recruiter.com Company" within the recruiting technology and services business. Its capabilities will be integrated into Recruiter.com's products, and existing Feenyx customers will be supported without interruption.
The signal: The deal reflects a shift toward evidence-based hiring, where employers weigh what candidates can do over how they present. "Companies should make hiring decisions based on what candidates can actually do, not just what's on a resume," said Rocky Paap, chief executive officer of Feenyx. As AI reshapes both work and the hiring process, verification and fraud detection are becoming core parts of the recruiting stack.
