Santroll raises tens of millions of yuan Series A for aviation electric propulsion

Investors jiuzhou junhe, yuanzhi fuhai, and lianjie qichen backed the deal, announced in August 2026.
What's the endgame? Santroll builds full-chain electric propulsion systems, spanning motors, controllers, and hybrid range-extender setups. Its technology platform targets air-cooled electric power systems, high-torque-density hybrid cooling, MW-class electric propulsion, and hybrid range-extension.
Why now? The company self-developed a motor controller software platform built to aviation DAL B standards (10⁻⁸ per flight hour). In November 2025, it passed the SOI#1 stage review for airworthiness certification, meeting DO-178 software and DO-254 hardware development requirements.
The signal: Santroll's quick re-raise points to steady investor appetite for airworthiness-grade electric drive systems as electric and hybrid aircraft designs move toward certification.
