Taylor-Winfield buys Haven Manufacturing to grow tube processing arm

Who's involved? Youngstown, Ohio-based Taylor-Winfield makes advanced material joining, tube processing, induction heating, and automation systems. Haven built its reputation over 50 years supplying tube cutting equipment to customers worldwide.

What's the endgame? The deal expands Taylor-Winfield's product portfolio, aftermarket support, and customer reach in the pipe and tube processing market. It pairs Haven's cutting technology with Taylor-Winfield's tube forming, end finishing, welding, and automation capabilities.

What changes for customers? Haven customers keep uninterrupted access to spare parts, service, and technical support, plus rebuild and modernisation programs. "Existing Haven customers can expect uninterrupted access to spare parts, service, technical support, and future equipment solutions," said Kyle Benyo, vice president and general manager of Taylor-Winfield's Pipe and Tube Processing Group.

The hire: Former Haven sales and marketing manager Matt Ciavarella has joined Taylor-Winfield, providing continuity through the transition. He said the two companies "shares the same customer-first philosophy and commitment to engineering excellence."

The signal: The acquisition reflects continued consolidation among specialised industrial equipment makers seeking broader, integrated product lines. By absorbing a long-established niche player, Taylor-Winfield deepens its position across the tube processing lifecycle rather than a single stage of it.
