Fig Group raises £550K seed to ease MSP compliance sprawl

What's the deal? Fig GroupDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →, a UK compliance, cybersecurity, and monitoring platform for managed service providers (MSPs), has closed a £550,000 (≈$747,835) seed round. The company says it has passed 100 customers and secured licensing to deliver National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) and Ministry of Defence cybersecurity schemes.

What's the endgame? Fig's platform helps MSPs manage compliance and cybersecurity evidence across multiple frameworks. It is also building an insurance play that connects cyber maturity, compliance evidence, and risk transfer for MSPs and their customers.

Why now? Founder and managing director Jay Hopkins argues regulation is outpacing the tools built to support it. "NIS2, DORA, CMMC — each one pushes obligation down the supply chain until it lands on the MSP," he said.

As businesses face expanding cyber, resilience, and compliance requirements, many turn to MSPs for help. But those providers must then juggle fragmented obligations across customers, frameworks, evidence collection, controls, and insurance requirements.

The catch? Hopkins says the industry's fix has been to sell more point tools. "Fig is one end-to-end platform: compliance, cybersecurity and risk transfer," he said, adding that "an MSP shouldn't have to become a systems integrator in order to become an MSSP."

Alongside the raise, Fig has onboarded several MSPs, is progressing multiple enterprise deals, and is advancing its cyber insurance strategy.

The signal: At £550,000, the round sits near the smaller end of the seed spectrum. But it targets a real gap: cyber compliance is cascading through supply chains onto service providers that lack the time, people, or tooling to stitch together disconnected products — opening room for platforms that combine compliance, security, and insurance in one place.
