Dutch investors back Conversed.ai's push into regulated AI markets
What's the deal? Conversed.aiDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →, an Amsterdam-based enterprise AI orchestration and customer experience automation startup, has raised an undisclosed round of growth equity. A consortium of Dutch technology investors from Blaricum and Oegstgeest backed the deal.
What's the endgame? The company is building the AI Agent Optimization Studio, a platform to manage and maintain AI agents across their lifecycle. Its stated goal: turn standalone chatbots into production-grade "digital colleagues."
How does it work? The software integrates across chat, voice, email, and ticketing, connecting directly with legacy CRM, ERP, and electronic health records (EHR). It offers automated prompt refinement, continuous guardrail monitoring, and data audit trails.
Why regulated sectors? To serve corporate finance, healthcare, and e-commerce, the system uses EU-hosted large language models and pseudonymises personal data before processing. It maintains ISO 27001 and ISO 9001 security compliance.
Where's the money going? Conversed.ai will fund European market expansion, scale its product engineering teams, and accelerate enterprise sales across regulated verticals. The company is led by founder Sander van der Kraan and newly appointed managing director Sagar Schoneveld.
Who's joining? Alongside the round, the company added software entrepreneur Michiel Mol — co-founder of Lost BoysDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → and Guerrilla GamesDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → — plus Maarten Elshove and Walter Hueber to its advisory board.
The signal: As enterprises weigh AI deployment against data protection rules, Conversed.ai is betting that compliance-first infrastructure is the way into Europe's most cautious industries.
