Thales raises €1B bond to fund Exail acquisition

Thales said the issue drew "strong investor demand" and was "widely subscribed," which it framed as confidence in its credit quality. The group holds an A2 rating with a stable outlook from Moody's and an A- with a stable outlook from S&P Global Ratings.

By the numbers: Thales generated sales of €22.1 billion in 2026 and spends €4.5 billion a year on research and development. It employs more than 85,000 people across 65 countries.
