Qi'an Technology raises 100M CNY Series C for central China push

What's the deal? Zhejiang-based Qi'an Technology has closed a 100 million CNY (about $14.9 million) Series C round. The Ezhou Linkong Industrial Development Fund invested as the sole backer.

What's the money for? Qi'an will use the funds to build its central China headquarters and a low-altitude economy centre.

Why now? The round ties the company to Ezhou, a hub for aviation and logistics in central China, positioning it for the region's growing low-altitude economy — drones, air taxis, and related infrastructure.

The signal: At roughly $14.9 million, the round lands in the top third of comparable deals by size, a signal of investor conviction. Backing from a government-linked industrial fund also underlines how regional development capital is steering startups toward strategic sectors like the low-altitude economy.
