Try Dealroom → signed an implementation agreement on August 24, 2026 to acquire the remaining 10.32% stake in Singapore-listed OUE Healthcare for SGD 22.9 million. What's the endgame? Treasure International says it intends to ensure continuity in operations. It has no plans to make major business changes, redeploy fixed assets, or cut existing jobs.
Why now? The buyout consolidates full control of OUE Healthcare under a single owner. OUE Healthcare's board has formed a special committee to review the transaction.
What could go wrong? The deal still needs court approval, regulatory clearance, and sign-off from OUE Healthcare's shareholders and independent directors. Completion is expected by the end of December 2026.
The signal: Take-private deals remain a route for controlling shareholders to mop up minority stakes and exit public markets, trading listing costs and scrutiny for tighter ownership. For OUE Healthcare's remaining investors, the cash offer marks the end of its run as a listed company.
