Where the money goes: The company plans to refine Baselink AI's AI model for practice-video reviews and self-analysis, expand its online community, and work with baseball academies tsuzuki BASE and NEOLAB on new training models.
Why now? Launched three months before the announcement, the platform has surpassed 10,000 users who log training, share gameplay videos and use AI tools to organise skills challenges. SportsTech Japan says it is addressing coaching shortages and unequal access to training across Japan.
