UroGen invests up to $7M in IntraGel

What's the deal? UroGen Pharma has signed an equity investment agreement with IntraGelDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → for an investment of up to $7 million. The companies also agreed a research licence and exclusive options covering IntraGel's SRGel biodegradable sustained-release platform and its investigational TumoCure therapy.

What it covers. The agreement gives UroGen options to develop and commercialise up to three oncology products that combine SRGel with compounds designated by UroGen. It also includes an option to obtain worldwide rights to TumoCure after IntraGel completes a Phase 2 study.

Clinical context. Early Phase 1b data for TumoCure in eight patients, presented in 2026, showed general tolerability, low systemic cisplatin exposure, early signs of anti-tumour activity and symptom improvements in some heavily pretreated patients.
