Adfactors takes majority stake in SenateSHJ

Why now? This is Adfactors' first acquisition outside India, extending its presence into the Asia-Pacific market. The companies said the deal reflects alignment in how they approach clients and work.

What changes? SenateSHJ will retain its brand, client teams and leadership under co-founder and chair Angela Scaffidi and chief executive Darren Behar. Adfactors chief executive Nijay N. Nair, who leads its M&A and global initiatives, will join the SenateSHJ board.

What's the endgame? Adfactors said it wants a stronger Asia-Pacific footprint and expects to pursue further regional deals.

What each brings. Adfactors gains reach into the Australian market, while SenateSHJ gains scale and an international network. The deal marks an outbound move by an Indian agency into a mature Western market.
