Quixotic 360 lands €800K EU grant to take its energy retail software across Europe

What's the endgame? Quixotic 360 makes software for energy retailers, built around an ERP that covers the full retail cycle from supply point activation to collection. The grant funded a multi-country regulatory layer and a full version of its operating system for energy communities.
Why now? Quixotic 360 announced the backing in August 2025 and says the project is now delivering. Its commercial activity in Spain has grown 67% since then, and it has confirmed its first international market: Germany, working alongside one of the country's largest solar installers.
What's the product? The flagship Energy Billing module absorbed much of the investment, with a billing engine built for dynamic tariffs, shared generation in energy communities, virtual batteries, and power purchase agreements. Quixotic 360 also added an energy sales CRM built natively for the sector and evolved its multi-tenant architecture to serve retailers operating across borders.
What could go wrong? Expansion is still early. Beyond Germany, Quixotic 360 is only in "active talks" with retailers and new entrants in France, Italy, Czechia, and the UK — none yet confirmed.
The signal: The €800,000 award ranks in the 91st percentile among all grant rounds recorded in Spain, out of a sample of 4,620. It reflects public money in Spain and the EU flowing towards the software layer behind the energy transition — the convergence of distributed generation, self-consumption, and energy retail.
