What's the deal? KalosDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →, a body composition company that pairs DEXA scanning with human coaching, has raised $2 million in seed funding. Try Dealroom →, Tonic VenturesDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →, and strategic angels.

Why now? Kalos scans members on DEXA machines, builds a training and nutrition plan from the results, then rescans every four to eight weeks and adjusts. Founded in 2024, it has run more than 5,000 scan-experiment-rescan cycles across 2,000 members.

What's the money for? Kalos will use the round to expand beyond its four Bay Area locations and build a member-facing dashboard and an AI-native training app.

What could go wrong? Scaling a model that depends on physical scanners and expert analysts is harder than shipping an app. Growth beyond the Bay Area means replicating that human-in-the-loop layer in new markets.
