The combined organisation will run 15 offices and roughly 1,400 employees across the UK, Europe, North America, Latin America, and Australasia.

Why now? Marco has been reshaping PoloWorks since acquiring it in 2022, adding new leadership in 2023 and expanding its customer propositions. Group chief executive officer Simon Minshall said Pro Global is "a natural strategic fit, bringing an impressive team, highly complementary capabilities, and a strong international footprint."

The signal: The tie-up reflects continued consolidation in specialist insurance services, where scale funds the technology and digital investment clients increasingly expect. By reuniting two businesses that share a common origin, Marco Capital is betting that combined reach and expertise will outweigh the risks of integration.
