What does the company do? Formed in 2020, Green Group recruits talent for the green economy, spanning renewable energy, clean technology, manufacturing, ESG, and green finance. It runs offices across Europe, South Africa, North America, and Asia.
The numbers: Since combining its two brands in 2020, headcount has grown from 20 to more than 80 employees, and turnover has risen from $2.5m to more than $35m. The business has also expanded beyond permanent hires into contract and temporary staffing, executive search, and recruitment process outsourcing.
What's the endgame? The capital will fund technology development, including AI for internal efficiencies, consultant training, and deeper market penetration across the Americas, EMEA, and APAC. It will also build out the group's contract workforce solutions.
The key hire: Oliver Watson joins as chair, bringing more than 30 years at Michael Page, where he helped scale the business internationally. He works alongside Volker Beckers, who continues as non-executive director and chair of the advisory committee.
