Everleaf raises mid-six-figure seed to expand beyond DACH
What's the deal? Vienna-based indoor-garden startup EverleafDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → has closed a seed round in the mid-six-figure range. Most of the capital will pre-finance inventory, with the rest going to marketing and product development. From 2027, the startup plans to enter its first markets outside the DACH region.
Who's backing it? New investors include a founder who built and sold a company in Silicon Valley; at the shareholders' request, the new backers are not named. It follows a six-figure round Everleaf raised in May 2025.
What does it do? Founded in 2023, Everleaf lets customers grow fresh vegetables at home. The company says it nearly reached its goal of increasing revenue tenfold in 2026, citing strong growth.
Why inventory? In consumer hardware, production and purchasing must be pre-financed months before a single garden sells. The more Everleaf grows, the more capital is tied up in stock and pre-production, while bank purchasing finance does not yet cover this scale. The round is intended to strengthen working capital, with the option to apply for further Double Equity later.
How it builds products: Everleaf brought product development fully in-house and hired a dedicated product developer in 2025. Its workshop uses several 3D printers, turning an idea into a shop-ready product within a week; only once customers buy and rate quality highly does it invest in scalable methods such as injection moulding. Two more products are due in 2026.
What the founder says: "Money alone solves little at our stage. What really moves us forward are people who have already walked the path from startup to large company and know where it grinds," says Everleaf founder Christophe VermeerschDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → (translated from German).
The signal: Everleaf's raise shows how a consumer-hardware startup is using funding as working capital, lean in-house production and AI-supported processes to prove its model at home before expanding abroad.
