Perimeter Medical raises C$7.5M in brokered private placement

What's the deal? Perimeter Medical Imaging has raised C$7,521,150 (roughly $5.4 million) in a brokered private placement, the company confirmed in August 2026. It issued 21,489,000 shares at 35 cents each, with a matching warrant attached to every share.

The terms: Each warrant lets holders buy one share at 50 cents for five years. The company also issued 1,476,755 finders' warrants, exercisable at 35 cents over two years.

Why it matters: The financing is a step-up from the company's previous round, signalling renewed investor appetite. The deal was flagged in company releases dated May 5 and August 13, 2026.

The signal: Brokered private placements remain a common route for small-cap medical imaging firms to fund operations without a public offering. The warrant-heavy structure ties future capital to share-price gains — a bet by investors that Perimeter's stock will climb.
