Swift Ride raises Series A to expand car-subscription service for gig drivers
What's the deal? Atlanta-based Swift RideDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → has closed a Series A round, announced on 14 August 2026. The company provides vehicles, insurance, maintenance and roadside assistance through a weekly subscription for gig-economy drivers.
Why now? Swift Ride says it will use the capital to expand its fleet and operations across Atlanta, Houston and Dallas, serving an oversubscribed wait list. Its platform combines vehicle access, software, payments, insurance and telematics to help drivers begin working without purchasing or leasing a car.
What it means. By bundling the costs and services associated with vehicle access, Swift Ride is targeting a barrier that can prevent workers from entering rideshare, grocery-delivery and last-mile courier work.
