TalkTalk Business merges with £100M MSP ARO to build £200M UK player

ARO's strengths in cloud, cyber, and managed IT complement TalkTalk Business' connectivity and communications focus. The merger is a "defining moment for both ARO and TalkTalk Business," said ARO chief executive officer Ciaran Rafferty.

What could go wrong? The merger still needs approval under the National Security and Investment Act. Both companies declined to share deal structure details before then. ARO's own momentum has also cooled: revenue slid 7% to £99.6m in the year to 31 March 2025, and its once-active M&A has stalled.
