What's the endgame? Medicall is building a healthcare platform that connects AI agents across clinic operations — phone answering, booking, consultation, recalls, patient management, and marketing. DentalCall is its first product; the plan is to link multiple task-specific agents within a single platform.
DentalCall answers dental clinic calls 24 hours a day, handling bookings, changes, cancellations, and patient queries. It also runs outbound patient management, automating scaling and check-up recalls, post-treatment follow-up calls, and return-visit reminders.
Why now? Medicall already has paying customers abroad, serving a large Thai telecoms operator and major Philippine medical institutions. It plans to use the funding to improve its product, expand sales and partner networks, and grow its team.
"DentalCall accurately identifies problems in real dental settings and solves them with AI technology," said AI Angel Club chairman Choi Sung-ho, citing the team's execution capability.
Chief executive officer Moon In-wook said Medicall is "not a company that automates one specific task," but is building "a new way of operating where AI agents that handle each area of patient management and clinic operations collaborate within a single platform."
