NEW ID lands $705K Series B to double CTV ad business

What's the deal? Media-tech company NEW ID has raised 1 billion KRW (about $705,244) in a Series B round from Crit VenturesDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →, which acquired newly issued shares. The Seoul firm announced the investment on August 14.

What does NEW ID do? It builds and operates platforms for global OTT and FAST (Free Ad-supported Streaming TV) distribution, ad monetisation, AI-based localisation, and automotive and CTV solutions. It runs more than 400 FAST channels across some 30 streaming platforms, including Samsung TV Plus, LG Channels, Amazon's Prime Video, Paramount's Pluto TV, and Fox's Tubi.

By the numbers: NEW ID posted a 37.3% average annual revenue growth rate over three years from 2022. In the first half of 2026 it already reached 86% of 2025's revenue, with exports topping $7.5 million.

What's the endgame? The company plans to more than double its CTV advertising business and upgrade its technology platforms. The goal is to position itself as a tech firm that helps content partners and global platforms monetise their audiences.

Why it matters: NEW ID says it offers one of the largest selections of K-content channels worldwide. Crit Ventures CEO Song Jae-jun said the company's edge is connecting K-content IP holders and global FAST platforms, with plans to extend the model to K-beauty and K-food lifestyle channels.
