Bunker Kids raises $1.3M for AI romance chat app WHIF

Why now? WHIF lets users chat with AI characters drawn from licensed Korean webtoons and web novels. Paying users spend an average of 217 minutes a day on the app, while monthly payments grew by an average of 110% over its first nine months.

What's next? WHIF launched in July 2025 across South Korea, Taiwan and Thailand, and nearly three in 10 revenue dollars now come from overseas. Bunker Kids plans to use the funding for international expansion.
