Why now? The offer, first announced on June 4, 2026, moved through two acceptance windows. It was declared unconditional on July 23, then extended to August 7 to give remaining shareholders another chance to tender.
The numbers: During the initial period, shareholders holding roughly 61.6% of Lasernet accepted. The extension added about 6.0%, bringing total tendered shares to 19,797,685, or approximately 67.5%.
Combined with the 8,592,878 shares already held by Mission Trail Partners and Aktiebolag Grenspecialisten and contributed to the offeror, Tabellae BidCo now controls 28,703,998 shares.
What's the endgame? The consortium has declined to extend the acceptance period further, and the offer is closed. With near-total ownership, the buyers are positioned to take Lasernet private.
