The details: Founded in 1988, M&M Qualtech is estimated to post sales of around SEK 385 million for 2026, with an EBITA margin in line with Nolato's. Its current management will continue to run the business.

What's the endgame? Nolato, which develops and manufactures polymer-based products for sectors including medical technology and consumer electronics, wants scalable capacity in electronics for the medical, industrial, and defense segments. "Together with M&M Qualtech, Nolato's offering and ability to deliver complete product solutions to a common and larger customer base is strengthened," said Nolato's president and CEO Anders Björklund.

Why now? Björklund called acquisitions "a natural part of Nolato's growth strategy," pointing to a healthy financial position that provides flexibility for larger deals. The company is listed on Nasdaq Stockholm in the Large Cap segment.

The signal: The deal extends Nolato's push to bundle materials and electronics into complete product solutions for demanding, regulated industries. Bolting on a nearly four-decade-old electronics specialist gives it a wider customer base and deeper capacity in high-margin segments where reliability commands a premium.
