What they said: "Canada has been on our radar for a long time, and Prairie HVAC/R was always the company we admired most," said IR Pros chief executive officer Curtis Czemeres. He called it "the start of a cross-border partnership we intend to build on for years."
The signal: Platform buyers in industrial refrigeration are extending their reach beyond US borders, folding established regional specialists into larger networks — a familiar consolidation play now reaching into Canada.
