Rimfire raises US$1.49M and names Bronwyn Barnes chair to speed scandium push

The details. The listed company will issue 287.5 million new shares at US$0.01 each, a 27% discount to its 31 July 2026 closing price. The placement will be completed in two tranches, with the second tranche subject to shareholder approval expected in September 2026. Participants will also receive one free unlisted option per share.

Why now? The funds will support metallurgical studies, drilling and working capital as Rimfire advances its scandium assets and focuses on potential supply chains serving aerospace, defence, clean energy and advanced aluminium alloys.
