Jungheinrich buys Australia's All Lift to grow in APAC rental market

The Sydney-headquartered business runs six locations across Australia, a diversified rental fleet and a service network serving a broad range of industries. All Lift will keep operating under its existing brand.

Why now? The deal fits Jungheinrich's Strategy 2030+, which targets growth markets beyond Europe. Australia is one of the largest material handling equipment markets in the Asia-Pacific region, and the company says rental demand is rising as customers seek flexible, lifecycle-based offerings.

What's the endgame? Jungheinrich wants to expand its footprint in the growing rental segment, where All Lift brings rental expertise, an established customer base and a service network. Combined, the two plan to strengthen their offering across ownership, rental and service solutions.

"The acquisition of All Lift is a logical step in strengthening our presence in Australia and advancing our growth ambitions in the APAC region," said Nadine Despineux, a board member for sales at Jungheinrich.

"For more than 26 years, our success has been built on great people, strong customer relationships and a commitment to quality service," said Dean Kretchmer, managing director of All Lift. He added that Jungheinrich shares the company's values and long-term vision.
