Hofseth BioCare completes 144.5M NOK private placement

What's the deal? Hofseth BioCareDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →, the Norwegian marine ingredients company, has completed a private placement of new ordinary shares that raised gross proceeds of roughly NOK 144.5 million (about $15.2 million). The shares were issued at NOK 1.30 each.

Why now? The placement, first announced on 3 July 2026, was split into two tranches. The second tranche of 32,819,999 shares was approved at an extraordinary general meeting on 30 July 2026, and the related share capital increase was registered with the Norwegian Register of Business Enterprises on 6 August 2026.

What it means. Following the increase, Hofseth BioCare's share capital stands at NOK 5,222,356.38, divided into 506,235,638 ordinary shares and 16,000,000 unlisted Class B preference shares, each with a par value of NOK 0.01.
