The target: Links Lodge is a mixed-income practice operating from a 140-year-old former merchant's house on John Street. It comprises eight fully equipped surgeries and serves roughly 13,400 patients.
Why now? Owners Dr Iain Campbell and Dr David Gibb are retiring from practice ownership after acquiring the business in 1999. They will stay on in a clinical capacity post-sale.
Under their 25 years of ownership, the practice grew from five surgeries to eight, with investment in facilities, technology, and patient services.
What's the endgame? Narra plans to maintain the standard of care while expanding treatment options. He intends to add dental implants, orthodontics, and facial aesthetics for local patients.
"I was attracted to Links Lodge Dental because of its excellent reputation, loyal patient base, strong community presence, and clear potential for future growth," Narra said.
The signal: The sale reflects continued demand for established dental practices in regional locations and ongoing consolidation under multi-site operators. "The sale of Links Lodge Dental highlights the continued demand for high-quality dental practices in attractive regional locations," said Joel Mannix, director of dental at Christie & Co.
