Who is L+P? Founded more than 25 years ago, the Munich-based firm has grown into one of Germany's most established full-service valuation businesses, with a team of more than 40 professionals serving institutional clients across Europe. It works across commercial, residential, and specialised real estate.
Why now? The deal marks Newmark's fourth Valuation & Advisory acquisition in 2026, according to John Busi, president of the unit. What changes? For clients — investors, lenders, banks, and public-sector bodies — L+P's local appraisal work now sits within Newmark's global network of more than 195 offices and 10,000 professionals across four continents.
The signal: Newmark's buying spree points to steady consolidation in real estate valuation, where scale and local expertise increasingly go hand in hand. Germany, one of Europe's largest property markets, is a natural target for advisors seeking court-tested appraisal capacity and institutional relationships.
